Since it’s raining out today, I’m going to be using the whole line of Olympus underwater cameras cause I want to get some great shots of people running in the rain, really good umbrella pictures but I actually want to be out there in the rain. I use my little Leica a lot but it’s very dangerous because the water can run in through the shutter button and just short the whole camera out which happened before. There are four or five Olympus cameras that we have in our camera store.
I also want to talk about Big Mike. Big Mike is a technical photo guy over a K & M Camera. That’s a real professional camera store. You go rent any type of camera and they have a wide selection of all those $10,000 cameras, $20,000 lenses and all the lighting you need.
Anyway, Big Mike used to pal around me a lot three or four years ago in Chinatown going to parties. They call him Big Mike cause he’s 6’3″, about 370 pounds. He looks like a safe with legs. His hands are like parking meters. Me and him almost gone through a couple of scruffles in the photography I do but he’s very intimidating so he’s very good to have around.
Besides being a very good photographer, a lot of times we hit those all-you-can-eat sushi bars the Chinese people start flipping out. It’s funny after our fifth dish of sushi, you hear them in the back, “otoyee, otoyee,” whatever that means. But they get very upset.
Anyway, I like to do these outdoor rain pictures. I might take a tripod out there and get some great reflection of car lights cause it’s also dark out. I like the people running the umbrellas. It should be some fun stuff today.
Anyway, signing off again.
