Listen to the audio [audio:101009.mp3]
Good morning. Another beautiful, lovely day here in Cranford, New Jersey. Well, I’m waiting for the train going to New York City. Last night was memorable – one of those memorable nights.
Tony Roma told me about the party at the Standard Hotel in the High Line Room. Some type of auction, also benefit, a mixture of three different types of events all in one. Of course, you have to pay to get in there. Tony said maybe I can get in. Anyway, with my new yellow Portraits of New York Press Pass, their $50 tickets I breezed right in.
But on the way there, there was celebration within a five block radius. The Food Network was sponsoring their TV channel and every restaurant was outside sampling their foods. That was pretty cool. It was a burlesque show, lines and lines of people waiting for free food. Of course, I didn’t wait on those lines because I knew that this party was going to be great.
Anyway, I showed my Press Pass, got in. I’m going to continue in about five minutes because the train is coming. Listen for the next blog.
