Thank god it’s Sunday. I can’t take anymore of this evil, wicked nightlife.
Anyway, yesterday I was at my location between 35th and 36th. There was a fair all the way up to 31st Street, from 7th Avenue to 8th. A lot of cool clothes then there’s a lot of food, packed with people about 200 feet away from my store.
So I want to talk about the Portraits of New York Press Pass and the power that it has. I took a couple of minutes off from the store and started photographing some of the Italian sausage vendor, the steak vendor. Of course I talked to them for a couple of minutes to explain to them who I am, show them the Press Pass. So after they all posed in making sandwiches, laughing and having a blast, of course they asked me if I wanted a sandwich. Of course I said yes. That was about 11 o’clock. Around 2 o’clock I was a little hungry so I went to another sandwich booth. First was the steak sandwich guys, next was the Italian sausage. So I got another sandwich.
So I took a bunch of pictures of the vendors and all the people still walking by there at the end of the night, they invited me over and they all posed for these pictures and of course more sandwiches. I see I gained 10 pounds yesterday. But that’s just part of the power of the Portraits of New York Press Pass. It’s in its nice leather I guess necklace thing with a fancy holder.
Last night Tony Roma, the lawyer – he sends me off to a place to go scout it out and then he went to one. That’s what we usually do. There are a couple of places to go to. I go to one, he goes to one then we call back which is the best. Anyway, they both were great. He went to the Actors’ Guild Party. All these actor wannabes, B actors, actresses – what a great party. Everyone here poses more than anyone because they want the publicity. I think I met about nine groups of different girls and all these really cool guys and maybe 200 pictures last night. Anyway, the drinking again – I’m taking a couple of days off.
Signing off.
