The Middle of 32nd Street Traffic Jam Experiment

Well, it’s September 2, 2010. It’s my eighth day of going back into the city. I’m trying out all these different stores to work in. But anyway, I’m going to 32nd Street again by 7th, entrance to Penn Station. I’m starting to like it there I guess because of all the people.

What’s interesting – the store 36th Street camera is pretty much dead set on the middle of the block so when the light changes on 7th and 32nd and 6th and 32nd, pretty much all the people collide pretty much right in front of the store. It’s kind of like people left to right going different ways, they have a system.

But anyway, sometimes it’s like nobody’s there and then all of a sudden, it’s like 500 people on each side. So, I’m getting a lot of group shots – three people, three guys, four girls or two girls talking. Anyway, it’s different than Chinatown for the last four years.

It’s Thursday which means that either my book writing, or some crazy party to go to so got to prepare myself for that. My stepdaughter’s watching the kids tonight. I have some other stuff to say. I just can’t think about it right now.

I’m going to call back a little later again when my throat is clear. Signing off.
