Getting back to Friday night, the lesbian three rock n’ roll band bar. Three bands are playing. I’m just finding I always have problems in these lesbian bars. I don’t think lesbians like men too much. I always say it’s not what I think, it’s what I see. This is true in this case.
Whenever I’m taking pictures, there are a lot of all those anger, “Who are you? Why are you doing this?” whatever. If you’re ever in a really tough dyke bar or lesbian bar in New York City, if you’re a man hitting on a lesbian’s girlfriend, you might as well be in a Italian night club hitting on one of the Italian guys fiancé. These girls really want to prove to their girlfriend that they’re just like a man that they can kick their ass. They can kick ass like a man. That’s why I’ve been in two fights in lesbian bars. And I know not to and I avoid it and it still happens.
Anyway, after the lesbian bar, I went to this other club, I met Tony Roma. I didn’t see him for a while, he’s been flying back and forth to California and flooded with all this lawyer business. But anyway, it was a very high end place, a lot of rich women, young ones, old ones, a lot of rich dudes. Luckily, I had a nice [01:51 inaudible] or I would have felt out of place. A lot of great pictures.
After all that, I got over to the Bronx to that Italian restaurant mafia place. I don’t mean it is but those types of characters hang out in there. A lot of great pictures, a lot of good wine. I had a really good time Friday night. Everything just turned out great.
Signing off.
