Karaoke Club, The Boho

Later on in the day, I’ll be talking about one of my new favorite cameras I used last night at the Karaoke Club, the Boho at 186 West 4th Avenue.

Anyway, I walked into the train station, I just made dinner for the kids. It’s a very quick recipe my mom taught me called Aye-aye-o. It’s a Sicilian dish. Angel hair pasta, minced of garlic, olive oil and – what is that stuff I forgot? – anchovies which my children hate so I replaced that with finely minced shrimp. Angel hair pasta, olive oil, minced shrimp, a little bit of salt and pepper, it’s very easy to make and very quick. I’m running across the street now. I don’t want to get hit by a car. Anyway, I ate some of it in the morning, like power breakfast.

Anyway, last night at the karaoke club… there’s a couple of new members – well, they’re not new members. They’ve been hanging around me every once in a while. I’m going to call the beautiful woman Kathleen Turner and the wild crazy guy Joe Piscopo because he actually looks him a little bit. He gets very mad when I said that and coincidentally, this girl looks like Kathleen Turner. They were one of my guests at the karaoke club.

I live in this town called Cranford and the town next to me, a very rich yuppie town is called Westfield. That’s where these guys are from. They showed up, they couldn’t get on the singing list, they were pissed but they were fine. But about two blocks away, Kathleen Turner had a friend who had this beautiful loft and she made a surprise visit to her, after being a singer for two years.

They were drunk – Kathleen Turner and Joe Piscopo. So they were just ringing 12 different buzzers to get in the building. We got in and I thought that people would be upset but they were fine. We hung out there for awhile and then we went to some night club off of Bleecker. Of course, these people drink a lot and I was drinking a lot because they gave me open bar at the karaoke club. I want to get back to the karaoke club for a minute… (continued next post)
