Halloween. I’m geared up. This is probably my 35th day of working straight in New York City and taking photographs.
A girl I know, a make-up artist could come visit me today and paint an eyeball on the center of my forehead. This is my look for the last four years. I look like a demon. I am a demon in my own way. So, I get to act a little crazier than usual today and tonight.
Last night was a great idea standing by Penn Station photographing everybody coming off the escalator. I’m not going to go to the parade. I’ve done that for four years in a row. I’m going to do the escalator thing and then I’m invited to two parties.
My kids are going to be going out trick or treating or whatever they’re doing. It’s funny when your kids get older, they don’t want to hang with you anymore. One’s 12, one’s 16. They’ve got all their friends. They don’t hang with their parents – a friend of mine told me that 20 years ago. When you have kids, stay with them when they’re really young cause when they get older, they don’t want to hang with you. Don’t take it personal.
Anyway, I’m at the 31st and 6th Avenue location. It’s my second day there. I was really getting, I guess, kind of bored with 7th and 35th and 36th. So I’m ready today.
Signing off.
