Tony Roma, Johnny Skyscraper, Mercer Street parties, cameras

[audio:100930.mp3]

Hi, I’ll be discussing the LUMIX cameras probably in about three hours but right now I got to talk about last night. Every once in a while, I hit a trifecta – that means three parties within a four block radius. It was on Mercer Street.

I had two of my friends meet me, Tony Roma and Johnny Skyscraper. Of course, these names had been changed to protect the innocent and the not very innocent. These are my two lawyer buddies. One of them turned me on to these three parties.

Anyway, as we’re jumping from art gallery to furniture store and jigging out cocktails and eating food, I was telling all the people that I’m from Portraits of New York, I’m covering the activity on Mercer Street. So people are posing outside, inside. We met a bunch of girls that we took from one gallery to the other. It was great.

Tony Roma, that’s who I call my one lawyer, he like that name because that’s a Frank Sinatra movie. It’s not meant to be funny but it’s a very funny movie, check it out. And we know about Johnny Skyscraper after he mixes alcohol – tourette syndrome. So, my one lawyer who wants to disappear when Johnny Skyscraper starts getting belligerent or whatever that word is. Lots of great photos, great cocktails, had a good time.

I want to talk about yesterday between 35th and 36th. This is the first day I worked on a workday where people are going back and forth to the garment district. I never saw this many people because one day it rained and the other two days were the weekend.

These are the best looking dressed men I’ve ever seen. The Giorgio Armani suits, Botany 500 suits that I can’t even pronounce but each guy is dressed sharper than tack. It was great. The guys aren’t good looking but they are so professional looking, better than the Wall Street kids. These are older businessmen that have been in the fashion business for many years. You’re going to see some great good looking suits soon.

Signing off but before I sign off, the cameras – probably around five o’clock today, I’ll go over some of the cameras I use and love.

Signing off.
